    mitchell not in his prime

i just saw a few of mitchell's recent fights , and i must say that he is far away from the fighter i saw live beating up KHALID RAHILOU when he took the title in PARIS.

rahilou was no joke , he just beated frankie randall for the title and had awesome speed. but god the speed and physical strenght mitchell showed was freaky , and he seemed to pack a lot of power. then i see him against lesser fighters , like vitches , and he doenst seem able to outspeed and impose his strenght as well .

was it because i saw him live first and fighters are always more impressive ringside or is he really going downhill ?

jabsrstiif , i need your opininon.

    Tino.....

He beat Rahilou back in the beginning of '97.
Of course he's not the same.

But, he has settled down since than, & may be a BETTER fighter.
He used up a lot of energy in those days....overcommitting to everything, whether it was movement or power-punching.

I think he's going to decision Tszyu.
Tszyu's long layoff is gonna hurt him when facing a guy with Sharmba's style.
I HOPE Tszyu wins, because I enjoy watching im fight a whol lot more than Mitchell.....but I just think Tszyu's career is about over.

I also know that seeing a fight live, in person....& then seeing on television are two totally different perspectives.

Yes, but neither is KZ. I think SM is in better shape and will end up winning the UD.

Mitchell hasn't impressed me in his last 3 or so fights. Not to say I think he is shot or not any good anymore, but his speed is diminishing and he is letting himself get hit more often. Fast hands and good footwork are his strongest assets....this is how he made up for having feather-fists. With that said, he still has a good shot at winning against KT, but I think he is the underdog in this one.

Right this is the big question, and the reason I think Mitchell is only a slight underdog. If he was getting in the ring with the KT of 2 years ago, I would be pretty sure Mitchell would be taking a nap Saterday.

i think bitchell has looked good against bad comp and then barely got by N'dou..... unless tszyu is ruined form the injury and layoff, he should win
