i love 'em, but the marquez brothers cry about all of their losses and call them robberies when they are really just really close fights that went the other way, not "travesties"

Nothing any fighter has ever said could beat that bull****. The funniest **** for a while is going to be Mayorga's respone when asked about Margarito.

roy's excuse for the first tarver fight (in fact it really played a roll in the rematch and the glen johnson fight too) was true. the weight loss ****ed him up in every department - strength, speed, power, reflexes, stamina, etc.... after the first tarver fight, his body was ruined and he was lucky to have been able to make that final push to eek out the first victory....

the third fight, his problem was mostly psychological after having been ko'd twice. he was gunshy. the excuse about his dad was pretty pathetic...

          as for tarver....

tarver night of the hopkins fight: (paraphrase) the best man won tonight. no excuses....

          two days later:
it was the weight! it wasn't "the real" antonio tarver in the ring! the hopkins camp poisoned me, lol!!!!!

Agreed. I love how Tarver bitched about Jones using the weight as an excuse only to have to same thing happen to him!

I rate Glen Johnson as one of the most toughest and best light heavyweights and i have a ton of respect for him, but he was crying over a close fight and basically sounded like he wanted the judges to give him a gift decision, which it would have been if he had won. Then he goes and makes videos on you tube bitching about it and telling Chad's fans not to support Dawson so he doesn't be able to sell himself in the future. I just lost some respect when he did that. He was not even a mandatory because Dawson's team called him and gave him the shot at the title. Diaconu was the mandatory, Dawson just wanted a big name so he got in touch with Johnson.
