De La Hoya's New Trainer To Be Announced Soon

The announcement for Oscar De La Hoya's new trainer may come as early as Monday, according to the former six-division champion. De La Hoya planned on Floyd Mayweather Sr. training him for the December 6 bout with WBC lightweight champ Manny Pacquiao, but Floyd Sr. instead took a job with Ricky Hatton, agreeing to train the Manchester fighter for his Nov. 22 bout with IBF 140-pound champ Paulie Malignaggi. I think it'll either be Beristain or Jackson, Jackson could be a little too busy with Hopkins right now though and I think DLH is already starting to state his 'personal' issues with Hatton.

I think Floyd Sr. said it best, it doesnt really matter who the trainer is, pacman has no chance.

Im suprised at him not having Snr specially for his last fight as well..
I thought he was gonna have Hatton and Hoya in the same camp doing there thing?

Thought that sounded a bit strange when i first heard it though
                  just could'nt see it working...
