I was watching the JLC-Mayweather fight, and Lampley kept mentioning mayweather's hometown advantage cuz he lives in Las Vegas and the fight was in LV. That doesn't make any sense cuz he was mentioning it as though the scorecards would be effected by it but not only is 99% of the crowd non-las vegas residence(as is for most fights in LV) but how would the judges score that fight differently just cuz mayweather lived in LV? Its not like philadelphia or NY where the crowd would be mostly local and would cheer the hometown guy so why would Lampley keep mentioning that? is there another angle to this that I don't get?
