If you bet 1,000 that this is going the distance, you are gonna be ****ting your pants everytime someone lands a bomb. You might wanna start out betting smaller so you don't become disillusioned with betting in the event that you get some bad luck.

In general I think this is a bad choice of fight to bet on, too many questions on both sides.

im leaning towards betting the distance....

mosley mayorga i will definitely be betting on

the over is 7 1/2 rounds at -180

basically your betting $540 to win $300 that it makes it to round 8

If I made a bet on the fight, that is the one I would make. You seem to be planning on betting a lot of money though, I would never bet that much ever. I know you have a nice career and all, but a thousand bucks is the kind of amount that you could really regret losing, and also enough to remove the 'fun' element and make it a bit too 'important', at least to suit my taste.

            for anybody willing to listen,

if you have any money or sense you should put as much as you can on Vitali Klitschko to knock Peter out in 5 rounds,

you should find odds on Vitali to win by ko before the sixth round, it is a bet not worth missing,

back to this fight, Tarver may not be active and may not be winning but at some stage in this fight he is going to hurt Dawson,

straight left or uppercut he will catch him some time during this fight,

i would bet on Tarver to win by ko, you would probably get very good odds too,

I think it probably will. A stoppage before 8 would be very surprising to me.

yeah i agree. i think dawson is gonna win, but i can't get over him getting kd'ed by adamek toward the end of their fight, and one thing tarver has left is a pretty good punch. i favor dawson, but i am not betting.

Dawson will definitely bring the heat so this being a boring fight is highly unlikely. He will make Antonio fight so if he doesn't have a way to neutralize Chad's work rate especially in the later rounds, then he could actually end up being stopped for the first time. Chad certainly has the punching power and Tarver is not a counter puncher when he is on thee retreat. His frail body is open to be tagged when he is laying up against the ropes with his guard up, and technical boxers like Eric Haring an Bernard Hopkins were able to take advantage of that but the only difference is that Chad possess the power . So, the only Tarver has of winning is stopping Dawson and since he doesn't seem to take risks anymore, i like Chad by unanimous decision or late accumulation from body damage. Tarver is not on Dawson's skill level.
