Al, do I really need to answer this? Has anyone even heard of Strum after AA offered him 1.5 MILLION EUROS (WHICH WAS ABOUT 2.7 MILLION DOLLARS THEN). I heard they have reported him missing in Germany?Comment

I dont care because Sturm is an euro, Calzaghe type padded record and laser guided career kind of fighter and after an impressive win vs Miranda, why the **** is Abraham going back to his comfort zone and expect people to buy it? If anything i'll sopcast it but not really interested in a fighter like Abraham padding his record against even more so average competition. He could be the German, british, commonwealth champion for all i care, he will never be a world champion if he goes down this, now well explored path, unless he pulls a Calzaghe and challenges Pavlik, or the current when he's like 40 (impossible in the Pavlik case because he's younger but you know what i mean, vulture style).
I don't care about such events and i don't care about such fighters. Boxing should be global and competitive. We should all contribute to make it easy to pin point the really strong guys. Major corruption among with these match ups screw this up badly. If you ever watched the K1 Max annual event you know Andy Sower was the best last year, and in the case of boxing it seems like some locations in the world ( EUROPE MAINLY and GERMANY IN SPECIAL) protect their fighters like if they were a closed ORG, which they are not! I've seen some horrible boxing from Marcus Beyer, Sven Ottke and others (who would easly get KOed by any serious competition) winning world tittles! Can you imagine what goes on on these people's minds to call them world tittles? World MY ASS, backyard is more likely. My 2 cents.Comment

and the poll concurs.
I just made this cuz some other idiot had the nerve to make a thread titled "Abraham has no Power at 160 and will lose to Sturm"

That's just preliminary maneuvres. Sturm wants AA bad. He has said so several times. Wheter this fight gets off it's dependent on one thing only and thats the course of Kelly Pavlik. AA will take on Pavlik before Sturm if he can.
Most poster probably think AA will just waltz in and KTFO Sturm. That wont be the case IMO. Sturm is a highly skilled defensive specialist and I could see him outpoint AA over 12 rounds. But the way the abrahammer has crushed his opponents lately I find it hard to say that he will not continue to do so.
So I take AA by a late KO. But I could see him being behind on points when that sick hook lands.Comment
