In other words he has to run all night long, hit a few times and then run, clinch Ruiz style and then run some more and try to make it to a decision. NEWSFLASH he allready tried that ****, Cotto needs a sledge hamer because Margarito is going to be on him like **** on fly's all night long. (Again) and just like Margarito did to Cintron he's going to stop him even earlier this time.

i agree that exchanging with margarito wasn't a good idea, but not because his chin is garbage, but because his stamina is garbage.

cotto lose because he got hit in the chin too much, he lost because he ran out of gas.

cotto threw too many punches and tired himself out. if he potshots he'll have more success because margarito is so slow. also holding would not be too bad of a tactic for cotto to try and survive.

Yep, do just that. In the center of the ring Cotto pretty much controled the action. It wouldnt hurt if he worked on his conditioning also

Gotta like Cotto, he's seems to be a humble kid. The media always tried to get him to bait PBF to a fight and Cotto's response was "if he doesnt want to fight me, he doesnt have to,time for me to move on." He gave Margo all the props in the world on the victory. I just think the 2nd time around he will be better prepared.

Cotto has a quiet defiance about himself. He wil never accept this defeat as the final say. any man with self respect will never concede. You gotta beat me down everyday for me to believe it and I suspect Cotto is of that mentality. "I want proof ngga... do it again. I don't believe you can..."

Cotto is in Washington visiting wounded Soldiers.. Good dude.

              War Cotto!

As Hes Getting Beat Down He Will Have Flashes Of Memory Of The 11th Round Of Tony Walking Toward Him After The First Knee He Took, Being So Bloody And Scared Of The Man Coming Toward Him. Then He'll Have A Flash Of Memory Of His Kid Crying Like A Baby Out In The Audience And He Once Agian Will Quit And Go Down To A Knee In The Corner Like A Scared Child! This Time In The 6th Round.
Cotto Did Everything Right? Are You Simple?

Cotto Went Backwards Too Much. Cotto Wasn't Offensive Enough. He Stayed On The Ropes/corner Too Long.

Margarito Has No Skills And No Defense.

All He Had To Do Was Stop Going Backwards All The Time. That Let Margarito Get Into His Groove Of Coming In All The Time.

Cotto Needs To Engage Then Back Up. Reset Then Engage Again.

He Just Kept Backing Up And Content With Counterpunching. He Took Unnecessary Punishment. In Short , Quick Engagements In The Middle Of The Ring Cotto Wins.

Margarito Is No More Skilled Than Baldomir.

IN other words Cotto tried to be a Mayweather and at the end ended up paying the price, hopefully we will see if he does or doesnt do the same thing in the rematch....

Bad Tactics But At Least He Fought Some. More Than Floydy Would Do.

Whoever Came Up With The Tactics He Used Is ******.

You Don't Make A Offensive Fighter A Defensive Fighter. He Can Box But Box On The Offense.

The fact he got his nose broke early on is why he ran out of gas (due to breathing problems) that coupled with the Margo shots obviously.

He just needs to fight the same fight except dont stand toe to toe with Margo, get in the cleaner shots, back off then circle and again and again or the big thing that would make a differance learn how to clinch once he has got a few shots off in close so that Margo aint catching him on his way out.

I am a Cotto fan and feel for the rematch Margo has to be favourite but it is not impossible for a Cotto victory if he uses the defeat properly and uses it to motivate him self.

He is more than capable of getting a decision if he clinches and does not get his nose splattered by an uppercut in the first few rounds.
