Earlier this week, promoter Lou DiBella met with Irish Ropes to go over terms for a potential 2009 clash between unbeatens John Duddy (25-0, 17 KOs) and Ronald Hearns (19-0, 15 KOs). The meeting went well, he informed BoxingScene.com that things are "looking good." The fight would take place at junior middleweight, with Duddy dropping down from 160-pounds. Yes - I can't wait for Hearns to win every round and then get one of the titles! -
even though this fight is far from complete it would be a great match up between to fighters with questionable careers.. I do think that duddy has fought much tougher opponents though, but still, I don't think he has the advantage... I personally think he actually lost his last fight while hearns has fought nothing but bums! Great match up!!!Comment
