juan , nate , joel , kats , jose along with juanma , joan and edwin jumping from 130 makes it the best and deepest division in boxing.

unfortunately manny sold out and probably won't be back at 135 at all. too bad. can't blame him though. everyone would've done the same for the money oscar and ricky can get him.

The lightweight division is consistently the most stacked and deepest division, talent wise, in boxing. Over the history of the sport it is generally the lightweight division that has shown the greatest amount of incredible fighters all fighting at one time. I don't believe this era is the best ever, probably not even close, but it is certainly the best in the sport today and has a lot of very good fighters, not only good fighters that actually fight each other but good fighters of different styles, which makes it all the more exciting and diverse.

Just check out the up coming fights for an example of why the lightweights are the best division in boxing today. Diaz/Katsidis, Casa/Marquez and Campbell/Guzman....all the top dogs fighting. Great stuff!
