I was always vaguely into boxing, but it was after landing on one of his fights while channel flipping that I seriously started to follow it. I guess that's some sort of appreciation. Great boxer.

Vitali was undertrained also, he took the fight on a few days notice, he was cut from headbutt,

Lewis was very relieved that night that it was stopped,

Byrd,Brewster,Sanders,Purrity were all avenged losses by team Klitschko,

Byrd fight was not a real loss,

back on topic Lewis was very good fighter who beat many good fighters,

anyone that followed boxing back then knows that vitali had a fight scheduled on the undercard. both of them had fights scheduled that night and both had training camps. the only difference is lennox didn't train hard for kirk johnson while vitali always trains hard for every opponent. that's one advantage wlad/vit have over lennox. both bros are always in excellent shape.

that dumb "vitali took the fights on a few days notice" LINE/LIE only works with people that don't follow boxing or only was following boxing recently.

and the one brother avenged the other brother doesn't wash either.

i'm done with vit/wlad vs. lennox on this thread. this is a lennox thread as danc said. go make another thread and i'll argue with you there for a bit 'til i get bored.

my world does not revolve around vitali and wlad.

vitali was the #1 fighter in the world after lennox retired. wlad is the #1 fighter in the world right now ONLY because vitali hasn't been fighting.

i was trying to compliment lennox , that's why i brought up vitali.

you should take it as a compliment that i chose to mention vitali instead of guys like rahman , grant , tua , etc.

Yeah I agree. The minute you say anything that could be construed as being negative toward either of the Klits all the losers on here go ballistic and shout hater. I'm a fan of both of them but I just pretty much ignore everything all those ****s say.

canada should be very proud to have such a small population and yet have a TOP 10 or maybe even TOP 5 ATG heavyweight champion.

I like and I don't like Lennox. I fully recognize his accomplishments and rank him high at heavyweight (I think I have him at 5 actually...Used to have him at 4, but I realized I needed to move George Foreman up since I was really underrating him).

I just have to be in the mood to watch Lennox. I mean his fight with Mike Tyson is a perfect example. It's like "DAMN WHAT SHOTS" but at the same time as Manny put it: "GET THIS MOTHER****A OUTTA HERE!!"

He can be exciting, but other times boring. I know it sounds bad with Bernard Hopkins being my favorite fighter, but something about Lennox I don't like. I think it's the non speed factor I don't like. He's not that fast and just kind of waits. Also maybe because he's on ESPN classic like every other ****ing day pisses me off too.

However I will say that "BOOM!" is my favorite jim lampley moment. What a knockout.
