if pavlik doesn't move up, Taylor will be king. It would be nice if Taylor took over the division then Pavlik could fight Taylor for the trilogy and title. Even though Pavlik won the first 2 fights, i have a feeling a 3rd fight is still in demand cuz Pavs got knocked down in the first fight and the 2nd fight was a close decision.

Only Taylor and Pavlik would make him a lot of money, he's got guys like Calzaghe, Hopkins and Jones at 175 that would probably make him more money than Pavlik or Taylor.

None of these guys have done anything to show they will be THE dominate guy at 168. I can see them all losing to another guy on the list given the right/wrong matchups.

That's what makes this division so interesting right now. Lots of talent, and some up-and-coming potential like Dirrell, Ward, and Jacobs, but nobody who has made a statement to the rest of the division... yet.

If Taylor KO's Lacy on Nov. 15 (something that despite Lacy's poor showings lately has never been done), that could be a good start. But these guys have GOT to start fighting each other. There are 10 guys on that list (though Mundine should be taken off, he's on his way to 160), and not one matchup between any two of them in the forseeable future... at least not at 168 (Pavlik/Abraham would in all probability be at 160).

That is one good thing about Taylor coming into the division... he will be looking for big money and HBO airtime, so after his Lacy fight I suspect (hope) he will only be making fights with the top guys. If Pavlik comes up we will see it with him too, but right now Bute and Kessler hold belts at 168 and are fighting cab drivers and journeymen when they need to be fighting each other.

Kessler or Taylor until Pavlik gets there. Lucian Bute will be a top contender too, but he's not at that level.

Im hoping Carl Froch gets a chance sometime soon. Hes paid his dues but no one wants to fight him.

Kessler is the obvious choice. The most gifted technically and was competitive with Calzaghe.

Pavlik Im not sure about, I dont think his limited style has a long shelf life. He has power and heart but I think he can be outboxed.

Taylor is just an accident waiting to happen again, I think he'll get a few gimmies under his belt before getting KOed again

Bute is a dark horse/outside bet.

I would say Pavlik, i voted Taylor but did not see him. He is so determined and powerful i cant see him losing anytime soon. GOODNIGHT Hopkins my old favorites is about to exit the game on his back. So sad
