i hate Floyd, but im also realistic, Floyd is ****ing great, he may be arguably the greatest ever in the lower divisions, skills unlike any one present(exception,Jones Jr), retired in his peak #1 p4p,''''''''''''''''''

he knows how to push buttons, he isnt very serious and hes a trashtalker(good attribute to a point)

Floyd if he gets back and beats some the top welters(Cotto, Margarito,Clottey, Mosley), he would be mentioned as one of the all time greatest, even at welters

now he leaves himself with unfinished business by retiring too early in the welter division

    hows that for a response

          the ironic part is
          that the best mma fights
or the ones eveyrones goes nuts over
are really when they start boxing "strikin"
just they dont wanna admit it
          but mma is great
when theyre legit fighters that pracice theyre craft
          most dont tho
          just like in boxing
them tuff man compteitions were pop a while back
tech theyre "boxing" but we all know the diff
most mma guys are tough man quality
few to many are true fighters
but they are great to watch when they come along

boxing will never die, look at the roots and history of boxing, how old are the queensbury rules? over 100 years old, and before that there were the bareknuckle boxers and before that there is evidence they even boxed in ancient times. boxing is not dying.

there is nothing original about mma, boxing is the prototype, mma the protege

look at Rashad Evans he was using boxing skills
and the outcome of that fight was a brutal KO to Liddell

got me on the poker one, as I've seen some pretty lame stuff on ESPN such as Scrabble and the Spelling Bee for example

you strike me as someone who'd complain that boxing doesn't get any coverage from the media.

then when boxing finally does get that coverage, and a big fight "flops" and gets criticized by the media. You'd probably be on here complaining
