Former WBO welterweight champion Carlos Quintana (25-2, 19KOs) plans to return to action on October 25 in Puerto Rico. According to El Nuevo Dia, Quintana will fight an opponent to be announced at the catch-weight of 152-pounds. You can put it that way or the other way around: Williams figured out Quintana at try 2 and his KO power was there.
You can make similar cases for Khan, that guy who fought Torres and other 1st round KOs.

That guy who fought Torres, was dropped twice inside 30 seconds before he head butted Torres and caught him flush. I would hardly call that figuring him out. What does Khan have to do with this? Not trying to sound aggresive, I may have just interpreted what you said wrong.

I like Quintana. It'd be ncie to see him build his way to a rubber-match with Williams.
