man this guy can fight!!!!!!!!!!! he doesnt have ko power only because he consentrates on volume and doesnt sit on his punches//what amazed me in the katsidas fight was his amazing defence.you can tell after his lose to campbell he's been in the gym working on his defence..

A slight correction: He doesn't have KO power because he doesn't have KO power. You are born with it or without it, its not something you can develop beyond learning to throw punches properly.

But yeah, I was very impressed with him against Katsidis (whom I favored to win). He dominated, basically.

He doesn't have much natural punching power, his punches don't seem to hurt opponents too badly even when he puts his body weight behind his shots but he can hurt his opponents if the shot lands in the right spot, like he did against Freitas.

But he can definitely fight, very good footwork, combination punching, a high guard, a very good jab etc.

I have to admit Juan has improve alot after the lost to Nate. His defense has improved ALOT and his jab was AWSOME.

he's always had an awesome jab, but the issue with the campbell fight was that it was the first time he had ever encouraged the cut issues and i think that took him out of his gameplan. it was a great experience for him.
