  • Effective Switch Stance Fighters...

Who do you think are the most effective fighters who would switch stances between orthodox and south paw?

I just watched Humberto Gonzalez vs. Michael Carbajal and thought that Gonzalez was very effective with his stance switching until he got KTFO.

Also, Marvin Hagler was known to switch it up and seemed to be effective in doing so.

    What do you guys think?

Does he switch it up a lot though? I can't remember if he does. I'm not really getting at fighters who jab with their dominant hand, I mean guys who switch stances as part of their game.

Junior Witter has had pretty good success at it, and Cotto does it once in a while.

Oscar De La Hoya somewhat does. Floyd Mayweather Jr has too.

"This is the second time Floyd has switched to southpaw"
            "Third time. Third time"

Good call man! Of course I care, everyone who is effective counts.

Andre Dirrell is a very effective switch hitter, he does it very naturally and is effective on both sides. He's much better at it than someone like Cotto for example, but it remains to be seen if this continues when he faces better opposition.
