Warriors Interested in Sultan Ibragimov-Chris Arreola Bout

Leon Margules of Warriors Boxing informed BoxingScene.com that he would interested in exploring the possibility of a fight between former WBO heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov 22-1, 17KOs) and undefeated Chris Arreola (24-0, 21KOs). It was reported yesterday on BoxingScene that Dan Goossen, who promotes Arreola, is also interested in the matching the two heavyweights. Arreola does not have a set opponent for his November 29 date on HBO. [details]

Could be a good fight for either:

A former world titleholder on Arreola's resume, or a dangerous, undefeated young fighter on Ibragimov's.

No, they're talking about Arreola, not Briggs.

Why does Arreola have a date reserved on HBO? What exactly has this kid done?

Dan Goosen bought the date or something and HBO is reserving it for him. Arrerola also beat undefeated Chazz Witherspoon too in an entertaining fight.

Chazz witherspoon wasn't no joke neither. Arreola should come in a little slimmer then his last fight and he should be set for a TKO 6-7, Arreola's wins are better then Ibragimov's. The main thing is that this fight happen, Sultan easily could say no he wants a lesser opponent to get back on his feet. Sultan could say he wants a bigger purse and so forth, all heavyweight fans want it so make it happen.

Arreolas wins are better than Ibragimovs? Arreolas 3 best wins have come against M.Tann,D. Wills,& C.Witherspoon.They don't compare to L.Whitaker (when he was good),Shannon Briggs& Holyfield.I think this fight is a bit soon for Arreola and I like Ibragimov by u12 or very late tko.
