    Warren's reason for Khan

Warren states he should not have put his fighter in with a puncher.
WTF does he think boxers do?.
He must want someone to stand their and let Khan punch him without lifting a hand.
    This hightlights 3 things,
    1 How crap Khan is.
2 how think as pigs **** Warren is.
3 how ****** Khan fans are for thinking he has any talent what so ever.

Warren wanted to make as much money out of him before he was exposed just the same as Hammed, (not making Asian comparisons) this is the way Warren works and the thick people of my country England fall for it every year.

Majority of Khan fans are part-timers and know ****all about boxing.

Seriously, it's like people who know ****all about motorbikes and "think" Harley Davidson's are good bikes...yet every other avid bike enthusiast knows they're not really that good.

      It's just good marketing.

We all knew Khan would be exposed...it was just a matter of when and how.

How was Hamed exposed? He was amazing and only lost once to arguably one of the greatest featherweights of all time.

The reality is that Warren is right. Khan should not have been in with someone like Prescott. How do I know this? Because Prescott KOd him in 1 and Khan clearly did not have the game to cope with him.

"OMG! You want Khan to be protected and beat bums to get a padded resume!" Erm...no. The truth is that Khan was moved along way too fast, because having won a silver medal there was money to be made, but if you want big money, in the end the fighter has to be put into big fights. Khan paid the price of Warren's greed and the demands of public expectation.

Khan is 21 years old. This is an age when most fighters are still light years from the top and are still learning the game. Yuriorkis Gamboa, the hottest prospect in boxing, is 26 years old and matching soft opposition. Andre Dirrell, the American SMW prospect is 25 and still beating on journeymen. Calzaghe was 25 when he fought Eubank. The fact is that at 21, most boxers are not ready for the big time, and Khan clearly wasn't.

Did anything suggest Khan was ready for tough fights? Not really. He was KDd by a shot featherweight in his last fight with Michael Gomez. Has he shown any marked technical improvements in any of his fights? Nope. He still rushes in with his chin hanging out without the least thought for boxing technique. Had Khan, in short, shown any signs whatsoever of being the kind of seasoned, rounded boxer that is required at the highest level, or did he look more like a kid with an amateur style still learning the game? The latter I think.

"What do boxers do?" you ask, "surely if Khan was ever to be anything he has to take tough fights some time?" Well, he did, and it cost him, because he wasn't ready. Boxers like anyone, more than anyone considering the nature of what they do, need to be allowed to develop at the right pace, against opposition of the right level until such time as they are ready. Why shouldn't they? Its a short career in a hard game and they deserve the chance to do the best they can do, which is not the same as doing the best the public wants them to do, except in Khan's case of course, it was.

Contrary to what you say, Khan does have talent, a lot of it, and it will be a shame if this loss means he ends up not fulfilling it. He probably should have stayed amateur until this recent olympics, turned pro at 21 and looked to develop over the course of a few years, growing into himself and his game in the process, looking to be fighting his first hard opposition a few years from now. Sadly for him, Warren and the great British Public "you'll be a great if you only sign this contract. Don't worry, trust us, we know what's best." They didn't, and its a bit much to ask a kid of 17 - 21 to be able to spot this and realise it.

I agree with most of that, Apart from him stepping up to the big stage ... He didn't really, Prescott was the underdog and Khan has a better record than him, He wasn't and isn't as good as Amir, Amir just couldn't handle the power.

Also Yuriorkis Gamboa has been fighting top class opponents, As far as having 10 fights anyway, Most his opponents have big winning records and high KO percentage, Hes disposing of fighters who have fought on the world level.

Anybody who thinks Khan has no talent though, Is a ****ing IDIOT ... The hype was over done, Yeah ... But the hype wasn't made by Amir himself.

Aside from having big goals, Amir never claimed to be the best he just wants to be the best, Hes matured so much over the last four years and is actually one of the few guys in boxing who TRULY wants to fight the best and be the best he can be, He puts acheivments before money in his mind but that's not how his career has been managed, He can't control who he fights and how the public are made to think of him, No matter what people say about him, Hes a true fighter and his skill is undeniable, He would fight anybody any time and that's something to respect.

His defence needs sorting to protect that chin of his, When that issue is solved ( If it is ) Amir will be a monster.

GET BENT!! you saying Hamed was exposed proves you know **** all about boxing.

Khan is chinny. but he can overcome that (maybe) with a water tight defence. I expected him to get ****** out at some point and it happening that brutal and this early in his career may turn out to be a good thing for him in the long run. Aslong as he doesnt refuse to believe it was his fault and puts it down to a fluke.
