Ibragimov On The Comeback, Arreola is Waiting

In a follow-up to a story posted on here a few weeks ago, BoxingScene.com has learned that former WBO heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov (22-1, 17KOs) is focused on his return, hungry and urging his handlers to get him a fight with any of the top contenders in the IBF. Ibragimov, ranked fifth, is supposed to take part in an IBF eliminator for the vacant number-two position in their rankings. [details]

Ibragimov would beat Arreola so I doubt his people will take the match. Would be intriguing though.

Agreed....Ibragimov would win this fight...He is too slick, smart and fast for the one dimensional brawler Arreola.

Hard to say, I would like to see how ibragimov handles the pressure arreola would bring. Suprisingly this does sound like one of the more intersting mathcups in the division.

This is all a load of rumors. I read an interview with Ibragimov on Russian site, where he said that he is changing his whole team, including his trainer, and will not be fighting until early next year.

I'd like to see Sultan vs. Haye.

If Ibragimov is in shape and in the right mindset, he'd have no trouble at all with Arreola.

Not a good fight for Arreola, Ibragimov is to Defensive and would make a booring fight out of it, Theirs allot of other options that he can choose from, fighters that would go toe 2 toe with him and make a classic HW fight.

Arreola should fight a veteran like Rahman or Brewster.
