Chris John Squashes Rumors, Solis Suffers Injury

Despite recent rumors in the Indonesian press, Chris John (41-01, 22KOs) is still the WBA featherweight champion. Some of the overseas media had reported that John was stripped of his title. Both Team John and the WBA have disputed those reports. John makes his WBA mandatory on October 24 against undefeated Hiroyuki Enoki (27-0-2, 19KOs) in Tokyo, Japan. [details]

Chris John needs to remain Champion until Enoki fights him! My estimation is, however, that Enoki will fall another victim to him just like Zaiki Takemoto.
