To be fair, though, Ruiz had some fights in the US where some ringside folks thought he lost when some ugly stuff like this occurred (I had him winning the Golota fight, but I remember it being controversial on this board, for example)

Ruiz should know if he doesn't dominate a decision or win by KO - getting a decision in Germany isn't likely to go down. He was talking about needing a KO leading up to the fight - why protest now?

i hope its ruled a no-contest. not because i agree with protesting results or any cry baby ****, i just HATE valuev and HATE the way boxing is handled in germany.

I was pretty surprised he didnt get credit for the knockdown.

the whole scoring business looks pretty shady too. I had Ruiz winning, but Im kind of glad Valuev won, and the fight could have gone either way anyway.
