Khan....I'll learn from my ****** mistakes.

Ok, all I hear after every fight is "I made some mistakes, I'll work on them"...yet when the next fight comes for Amir it looks as if he hasn't improved on anything in the gym.

The reason why I watched Saturday nights fight was because I was more interested to see what Rubio has done with him...which looks to me absolutely ****all.

He jumped into that fight like a school boy and got put on his ass.

He seriously needs a good pedigree trainer...why the **** he turned down Floyd Snr I do not know, although my su****ions tell me he's brainwashed by Warren.

He needs a trainer that focuses on defense, he's already a very good offensive fighter but his defense leaves a lot to be desired, I think Rubio tried to instill the Cuban amateur defense, hands fight, subtle head movement then countering, that fell apart within 20 seconds of the fight beginning.

And I think he only went with Rubio because he was the only one willing to travel to the UK to train him, I doubt Mayweather Sr. would, I think he's making Hatton go to Big Bear to train.

iv said it before ad i'll say it again mayweathe sr is tailor made for khan the two would make a lethal team - imo with mayweather beside him khans chances of winning a world title look alot alot better!

khan went into the fight all wrong - he was against a fighter with awesome power and one that he knew little about - i.e. are his punches straight or wide and loopy, is e good at going to the body or is he a headhunter.

khan should have gone in with a high guard and lots of movement - then after four rounds khan would have sussed out his style and could have made the adjustments. instead he came out like a power puncher too eager to impress and got KTFO!!

imo he will still win a world title but not in 3-5 fights instead it might take him 4-7 fights.

Technically, His approach was perfect ... Hes the smaller man and he tried to fight close to the big man ... He just failed to execute.

Khan is too eager to impress the crowd and go for the spectaular KO quickly.

I think he might work on those things now. Before he knew there were problems, but he was winning so he wasn't bothered. Now he lost, and got KTFO he might take it more serious. Well, I hope he does.

Now khan has tasted what being knocked out feels like, he understands how his opponents must have felt when he knocked them out.
He wont have liked it one bit. He will improve.

The best defense in the world is not going to save Khan from every punch in the game. Mayweather, Whitaker, Winky, all have master defenses and even they get hit with good shots from time to time. They all have good chins along with great defense. Khan was wobbled by a JAB in the first round by fighter his own size. Khan has too much of a civilian chin to hang with a decent fighter let alone a top contender. He claimed to be a top ten after this now that’s as credible as his chin.

I agree. In every fight he squares up straight away and goes for the Glen Johnson double piston attack. Khan doesn't need any mythical super training or Mayweather magic, its doubtful he has the ability to be that kind of fighter, he simply needs to learn to tuck his chin, establish a jab and respect his opponent from the opening bell to the end of the fight.
