I don't think his status has really changed, he's still one of the top guys at 135 , I think he should try to find a middle ground between his boxing and his brawling though.

I think a fight between him and David Diaz would be good. If not D Diaz maybe Julio Diaz or Jesus Chavez.

He could make a few grand by working for less 60 secons if he was to fight Amir Khan!

The first thing he needs to do is look for a new trainer. He cannot keep competing at this level with Brendan Smith. The guy is quite simply hopeless. Really, really terrible trainer. After the Casa fight, his management should have had him looking for someone new and now after this fight, they absolutely, desperately need someone new otherwise his career is over.

Both fights, he could have been in if he had been given the proper advice. Against Casa he should have won and won, if not by KO, at least by a UD. That was a really bad loss and a loss which should never have happened.

Against Diaz, he could have been in the fight at least, if still losing, if he had been given the proper advice.

I just don't see how he can keep going with the trainer he has at the moment. I have rarely seen worse. Johnny Lewis should be the number one choice for him. He would be the perfect trainer. He knows exactly what to say, when to say it. He gives simple, solid advice and is a great motivational corner-man, which would be great for Katsidis.

If he has another loss due to bad advice, or no advice as the case may be, he will never get another big fight. As it stands now he will struggle to get a big shot and will have to climb back to the top with a few contender fights now. He could really do something and become a big hit in boxing if he had a great management team and, most importantly, a great trainer/corner-man.

I don't think I could stand to watch another one of his fights if Smith is in the corner. I end up flipping out with anger and frustration. His last three fights have had some of the most rudimentary, moronically simple mistakes a corner-man could make. Not giving the cutman space to work, giving the wrong advice completely or not at all and not telling him how the fight is really going and what he needs to do to win, among many, many others. I can't stand the guy.

I couldn't agree more with this post. I've been saying the same thing for quiet some time now.

Johnny Lewis is no good these days.

Like others have said, he needs a new trainer. I feel like even though he jabbed and attempted to box it's like he didn't use it to setup combinations. He threw it but never seemed to really move forward with it or double it up to get on the inside. It was refreshing to see him try to box though and if he could get a trainer who could really help him utilize the jab properly and use effective head movement instead of the unneccesary movement he had going on then he could really give someone hell. Clearly he's teachable, now let's just hope he gets a good teacher.

He should fight Prescott, Prescott is **** but a big name for the time being, The only fight Prescott has ever looked good in is against Khan ... Because he has a glass chin.

Katsidis would murder him and it would look pretty good.
