I wasn't around, I don't know whose fault either of those were.

Casamayor is pretty done though IMO. It seems problematic that a slick fighter had so many problems with a straight brawler. I mean, honestly, those styles are tailor made for the slick southpaw to win easily. I think it says a lot that he had to bail himself out of that fight with a crushing left hand when Katsidis lost his mind and tried his hardest to get himself knocked out.

By the way, does anyone else get reminded of Antonio Tarver when they watch Casamayor? Slick, defensive southpaw who has a crushing left hand... sounds pretty close.

I like both fighters but I think marquez will win. casamayor struggled to win katsidis, and he got him with "tha" lucky punch. i dont think that is going to happen with marquez, he is a much better fighter with a lot more experience than katsidis....marquez by UD or might even be a KO in the late rounds.....

Casamayor looked great in his last fight for the first couple of rounds, but he got worn out due to Katsidis' constant pressure and physical strength. Marquez isn't exactly Mr. Pressure, he had a good boxing style for Pacquiao but against Casamayors slickness, counter punching, and against his size, and weight of shot, I dont see a great deal he can do, I mean he cant outpunch Casamayor, he isn't gonna hit him with a great deal of punches because he doesn't fight that way, and Joels chin is rock solid anyhow...

So it comes down to this; do you think Marquez can outbox Casamayor? And I think the answer is an emphatic no. He moves too much, he's too elusive and awkward. The fight will tick along at a reasonable pace, Marquez will get speared by counterpunches, he'll land some right hands and have minor successes but stylistically, you know, looking at the tapes, and their particulars, I just think it's a big Casamayor fight, it's his for the taking. Plus lets not forget Marquez has never fought at lightweight
