Calzaghe May be the Great Cherry Picker in Boxing History

Have you noticed that Joke Calzaghe only fights guys who are clearly green and untested or guys that are washed up? Joke obviously knows that if he didn't cherry pick, he'd get his ass beat. He even admitted that he was calling out Pavlik when he was green and Pavlik smartly declined. But now that Pavlik has beaten some good fighters and is ready to knock Calzaghe out, Joke wants no part of him. Is there a great cherry picker in the history of boxing?

The point is he cherry picked his way through the ranks by avoiding all the best at welterweight.

He fought great fighters in his first 2 divisions. Calzaghe couldn't even do that...

Mayweather only wanted DLH he never intended to fight the WW's people claim he ducked. It was all money and Hatton was also able to offer that. Mayweather is no longer motivated in the sport of boxing...if you call that avoiding, then so be it.

I'd hardly say Calzaghe's resume compares to Mayweather's.
