I don't mind seeing the fight myself(free) especailly to see how an old fighter who has to kill himself to make weight then go up against a fighter in his prime. Its ****** giving up so much to a prime fighter but im interested to see how this old man(delahoya) is going to make weight and will he be weight drain..yup, its interesting.

Manny is just doing what Mayweather did. Thats why im telling it like it is as i did with Mayweather. But now, i can't blame Mayweather one bit if he fights Pacquiao or even if Hatton does.
Let me remind you that this "old man" is the Boxrec World ranked #1 lt-middle. And since when is Oscar "finished"? He has not taken such punishment as to make him "washed-up".As for making weight, all he needs is a good diet and exercise.

He fought at 150 just a few months ago, although I heard a rumour that he was 151. However it was only a "gimme' fight in which he won every round.....EVERY round.

The other day Oscar said that his natural weight now is from 144 to 140, and I tendc to believe him, since he certainly would not commit himself in such a high-profile fight, from which he hopes to make many 10's of millions, unless he was sure he'd be UNDER weight.

Still, I wouldn't put it past him to weigh in the first time with concealed weights attached to his body, to create a bit of excitement, and then after a heavy bout of exercise which will drain him ( he'll just unstrap the weights) then weigh in a half, or full lb under. This will make everyone certain that he's just exercised away all his chances, and THEN....he'll surprise everybody- including The Roach. But he won't surprise me.

    Just my opinion.

So Philippine born in USA isn't a pinoy, I thought so. Thanks for clearing that up.

If Oscar is now an "old man", then why do the haters want Margarito to fight Dela Hoya.

Pacquiao and Margarito are born the same year. Margarito is just older by 9 months.

Since Dela Hoya is now fighting Pac, Oscar is now a "old man".

                      Don't remember that.

He might be out of prime but not an "old man".

As far as the fight, i am rooting for Pac but i see Dela Hoya winning it. Oscar by KO or wide UD. Oscar got the power, skills, height, and reach. His disadvantage is reaching 147. With Pac, reaching 147 will be no problem. But how will it affect his speed and power.
