Why are English fighters so damn chinny?

True. I don't know that we've got much better though. I checked out that Brook vid today and TBH while I can see he has talent I don't think he'll make it at the highest level. I felt his reflexes were a little bit too slow for his style, what do you think?ironically enough Dirrell has admitted to being hurt in one of his fights and said he was fighting through a fog
Andre ward was decked by Kenny Kost and apparently he was down against another fighter on his way up
Berto was rocked by Rivera & Estrada
Dawson was down against Adamek & Harding ,hurt by Glen Johnson
the Americans have no room to talk IMO with their current crop of talent as far as punch resistence goesComment

Yeah but his opponents had to endure pure hell when trying to crack it. Benn was a mean SOB.I agree on everyone but Hatton, I think its a bit of a stretch to call him 'chinny', his style does after all rely on taking shots to land shots and he's been stopped once ever. I'm not completely sure its fair to call Lewis chinny either. Benn was quite chinny though, yes.Comment

i too was worried about the kind a chances he was taking leaving his chin out but maybe he knew how limited Barrie Jones was even still a cause for concern i agree he will deffo have to sort it out as he moves up in class or he will not make it i agreeComment

I also feel that our inferior teeth fail to reinforce our jaw in the manner of the American's perfect rows of pearly white gnashers.Comment
