    Juan Diaz vs. Ricky Hatton

They aren't far apart in size. I could see a good scrap ensuing. Hell, I'd see this on PPV before I saw Rick fight Paulie. Who do you think would take it? I say Ricky by close decision. He's too awkward for Diaz.

Diaz UD. I think he should fight hatton the way he fought Katsidis

Hatton is smarter and more awkward than Katsidis, impossible for Juan to use the same gameplan. Although I think he would have a good chance to beat Hatton, I think he'd need more than what he brought vs. Kats.

this would be an awesome fight. Hatton is strong as hell, but hes also on the decline. which evens things out a bit.

but in all honesty, its probebly better if Juan stays at 135. hes not exactly big for that weight as it is.

but I would like this matchup more than any that could be made between 140lb fighters.

I see Diaz outworking him, Hatton is looking shot.

Next card the wish list- after the Malignaggi fight: Hatton-Diaz, Katsidis-Prescott. I'd even pay 50 bucks for that.

              You must be joking.

Hatton is much bigger and stronger than Juan. Juan could probably go down to 130 if he lost the puppy fat

              Hatton would bully him.

I must be joking? You must be shrooming... They are 5 lbs. apart. And if I'm not mistaken, Diaz looks pretty damn quick and durable at 135, I doubt goin to 140 will make a huge difference for him. It would be a good fight. I think you might be the only one yet to respond who said that Diaz would be too small. Look who's getting the votes in the poll so far genius. ANd i voted ricky.

Hatton wins by close decision. To strong for Diaz, and would go to the body a lot more then Kat did, But would be a great fight.

Hattons shown a weak chin in his past few fights... i think diaz's jab would stop him a lil bit and his straighter cleaner punches would break him down a bit for the late Tko.
