Ok. .............So then who's to blame, Frank Warren. He's been known to hold his fighters back, to pad there records. So now He throws Khan in there with solid fighter, who is known to possess heavy hands and one punch KO power.
The bottom line is Warren went away from his normal strategy with fighters, Khan said he wanted the best, he put him in there with a fighter who he NORMALLYY wouldn't, its his fighters JOB to be absolutely prepared for everything else. YET, his fighter decides to try to **** with a Heave Handed fighter?!?!?!?!?!
The guy has a lot to learn and your right he's young, but he has not shown a great enough ability to say a Future World Champion. Not yet at least. Good young prospect yes, future World Champion, no.
If this was say Peterson instead of Khan what would u say about that?!?!Comment

This is boxing. There's no need for excuses he got knocked out, and will most likely either run or get knocked out in a rematch. Scott is simply better than Khan, no matter how hyped Khan was. His jab was stiffer, feet movement better and came to show Khan how it's done!Comment

But he turned pro at 18, and has been undefeated all the way through. He has met adversity, been hurt, stunned, knocked down, seconds from being knocked out, and always come back.
Most people turn pro at 24+? Okay, so lets look at todays champions.
Klitschko: 20
Haye: 21
Calzaghe: 22
Pavlik: 18
de la Hoya: 19
Margarito: 16
Hatton: 18
Pacquiao: 15
Marquez: 20
John: 18
Vasquez: 17
Hasegawa: 19
Mijares: 17
Donaire: 18
Solis: 20
Garcia: 20
Yeah so none of this Khan got an early start bull****. Its not about him not having a strong chin, its about him having an exceptionally weak one.
You guys can blame trainers and promoters all you want, but Amir showed up to fight in great shape, made weight, and when it came down to it, it was just him and Breidis in the ring. It will always be JUST him in the ring as long as he is a fighter. You can wish that he wasn't matched with Prescott, so that he didn't get knocked the **** out, but the point is that he did, it was a bad match for him yes, but HE got knocked the **** out, NOT Jorge Rubio and NOT Frank Warren, but you can blame whoever you want for his failings.Last edited by Slotff; 09-07-2008, 03:59 PM.Comment

Buddy Top Rank has proven over the years that they are by far the best promotional team when it comes to bringing along fighters. If he was with Top Rank, they would never have thrown him to the wolf so to speak. He'd be fighting 8 to 10 round fights. They'd move him up relatively slowly to allow him to grow into his body and as a fighter. He's still a ****in kid man. Juan Diaz was as rare a case as you will see in this game. A 21 year old fighter is not known for becoming a World Class fighter that soon. Y because there still growing physically and especially mentally. Bottom line is Khan was not ready to take on such a challengine opponent, no matter how u look at it.
Not to mention the LW division is not what it was when Juan Diaz was 21 years young. Theres a mess load of great opposition within the division.Comment
