What do you guys think?
Do boxing fans place too much emphasis on being "undefeated"?

If you compile an undefeated record sometimes the fans and the media gets hyped up about this magical (0).IMO a fighter learns more from a defeat than a victory. Also when you have an undefeated record it adds pressure to fight opponents who don't pose the most threat, case in point Mayweather. If he didn't have his O,maybe he would of cleaned out the welterweight division. That is just one example but I feel when a fighter keeps his O he truly didn't test himself against the toughest challenges,so IMO an undefeated record isn't the be all end all achievement in boxing.Comment
