But, both Liddell and Evans showed terrible boxing skills as do many other UFC fighters
Obviously, a world class boxer at their weight with those tiny gloves would box their heads off
But that's completely ignoring the Ground aspect to MMA.

Silva uses pretty good boxing skills in the Octagon, throwing the Jab effectively, countering etc
Obviously in a boxing match against a good opponent he would look like an amateur
But many UFC fighters just rush in swinging hooks everywhere, look at liddell before he got KO'd, walked straight into range, hands down..
