Does Katsidis have the worst trainer in the sport?

What is your agenda against the American broadcasting crew? They were right. The cornerman was giving Kat the wrong advice.I am a fan of Kat and even put real money on him and I can admit the cornerman screwed up.Why can't you?I think Kellerman and Papa were being very negative in their comments about the trainer, and creating a negative opinion of the trainer in those who were listening. But the trainer was really okay.
I wish people could have watched the fight from an Australian broadcast crew, they may have come away with different opinions.Comment

Very blind corner in all aspects. The advice he did get, which was next to none, was all the WRONG advice. His trainer should be taken out back and beat, hopefully by Kats. Kats performed very well tonight and showed tremendous heart and IMO, deserves a little more professional corner to guide him through his fights. He was just simply outclassed by a very determined and well equpped Diaz. Hats off to both fighters for an entertaining fight.Comment

His trainer is a total *******. He lied to Michael the entire fight telling him he was doing "great" when it was clear to anybody he was getting outclassed.
Katsidis needs a new trainer, the one he has is either delusional or heavily medicated.
I would've told Michael to goto war after the 4th round.Comment

The problem with this fight is that HBO talked as though Diaz totally destroyed Katsidis, but he didn't. I personally had Diaz winning 9 rounds to 3, but this wasn't a beatdown it was simply a case of two fairly evenly matched brawlers but where one is a much superior outboxer. Diaz won the rounds based on landing his jab on Katsidis over and over again, but there is plenty of case for arguing that Katsidis landed harder and cleaner combos in several rounds, especially towards the end of the fight, when I felt he often had the better of it.I think Kellerman and Papa were being very negative in their comments about the trainer, and creating a negative opinion of the trainer in those who were listening. But the trainer was really okay.

The point is that the verdict was correct but the spin placed on it by the coverage wasn't.Comment

Did any one else notice that the majority of the fight Katsidis was trying to box the boxer? And when he brawled in the later much later rounds like round 9 and up he started looking alot better and landing more punches? Not saying he won all those rounds past the 9th round, just saying that he started turning things up and start to move and weave and throw wild punches... This dumb ass trainer tried to turn a brawler into a boxer and failed miserably.
