There is no possible way on earth you could give Katsidis more than 3 rounds in this fight
I watched it in Spanish and turned the audio off so no influence on me from commentators , I gave Mick 2 rounds .

Mick is a hard nosed game fighter and they are trying to change him , our boys that get to this level have more heart than skills because we just dont have the boxing tuition in Aus that can get anywhere near the USA standard , very frustrating fight for me to watch , Katsidis needs to retire or sack his trainer , Mick had a chance in a war in a phone box and nowhere else .

Kellerman sounded like he really hates Katsidis for some reason, and Papa is always biased in favor of the American fighter.

Diaz did win the fight, but I scored it closer, 115-113. By times Katsidis was controlling the pace of the fight and landing more punches.
The extra three rounds are for the white man's bonus.

Kellerman clearly loves Katsidis, he just hates Brendan Smith.

on a side note, I like Katsidis a lot. very polite, nice guy, and strangely optimistic, happy and generous dispite his face looking like hamburger meat, haha.

...they should let Katsidis fight Amir Khan. bwahahahha!

actually, more realistically, they should have Katsidis fight Jose Armanda Santa Cruz...the guy who was robbed against Casamayor. he has the ability to outbox the hell out of Katsidis, but at the same time the guy is chinny. it would be a great fight, and Santa Cruz should take it since no one is willing for him to get into the mix in the lightweight division, dispite the fact that he easily beat Casamayor.

The most rounds Katsidis could have gotten was 4 IMO.

Wow, did I see a different fight than most people did. I was rooting hard for Katsdis and I only gave him the 8th. There were two other rounds (I forget which) that were close but that was it. Punches that land on the arms are not points.

Santa Cruz turned that fight down before.

I scored it 116-112 but I agree with what you are saying. It was much closer than Kellerman and co were making out. People can be misled due to the fact that Kat marks and swells very easily. I though Michael landed the harded punches but just got outworked and gave away too many of the early rounds.
