i mean lets not get things twisted here........Amirs a good and very talented fighter, he just got caught by a strong puncher. Unfortunately with all that natural talent, speed, power, and ability didnt come a chin.

theres no way to improve a chin and unfortunately for him that could spell disaster for the longevity of his career........we'll just have to see if he truly has the heart of a champion and can bounce back from this and win.

i personally like Amir, not my fav fighter but i like the kid........i'd like to see him fight the guy again and redeem himself

The shot that hurt him was a good one, but also notice how he got knocked back by a single jab as well. I like Khan a bit, but he has bad punch resistance.

I get what you're saying, but there are plenty of cases of guys with decent chins getting hurt by what everyone considers to be feather-fisted boxers...Cotto and Mayweather were both rocked by Corley, who's KO ratio is anything but impressive. And I've seen several guys KO'd by jabs from big punchers like this fellow over the years.

Anyway, all I'm saying is that this wasn't a good fight to judge the guy's chin...what he got caught with would've put anyone down.

A lot of the guys with poor KO rates have reasonable pop but aren't good finishers. The guys with 60 - 75% KO rates tend to have the same amount of pop as the guys with the poor rates but are good at capitalising on it. Prescott is one of those guys who is just a huge puncher.

Does this mean we can stop hearing about how "great" Amir Khan is?

You could have stopped hearing about it any time you wanted simply by paying attention to reality.
