Cook fought a very good fight but Arthur has had problems making 130 and he didn't seem to know how to cut off the ring properly, it'll be interesting to see how Cook does in his next fight.

But there's a silver lining in the clouds that hang over English boxing right now. His name is Nicky Cook, and he's the new WBO super featherweight champion of the world!

I thought he fought very well today - he seemed to have an excellent gameplan, perfect focus, and most importantly, he showed us he has some fine technical boxing skills!
          Well stated!

I'm not to convinced because of two things:

            1. Luevano taxed that ass at 126. You can argue about Cook being drained, but it's Luevano who almost failed to make weight in his last fight. Luevano has a pretty big problem draining down to 126.

            2. They would have never fought for that belt if Frank Warren hadn't paid off the WBO so Guzman would vacate for the mandatory shot at the WBO.

Still a pretty good performance from Cook, but I don't think of him as being really good. What's sad is that he could go beat Fana (who will probably rematch Cassius for the 1000th time and then win) for the IBF title and he would become a unified champion. 130 is a pretty wide open division right now with everyone moving up.
