That boxing isn't for him actually?

Hey Silencer when i watch that video i kind of think Khan had his hand upto high he is'nt use to punching out of that kind guard and i think that is why he had to be closer to Presott than he usually would be

either that or it was Rubio's plan for Khan not to make such drastic movement to avoid punches but just to use slight movement to slip the shots and let them go over his shoulder etc i think this could explain why he spent his time fighting at mid range instead of doing what he normally does

I know, I noticed that when he came out of his corner, his hands were higher than normal, that led me to believe that Rubio had tried to instill what the Cuban amateurs do which is to have their gloves high and move their head subtlety, countering when they do so, saw quite a lot of that in the Olympics.

But after about 15 seconds Khan's guard loosened and he let that jab slip through that wobbled him and then he got hit with that hook to the temple which led to him getting reckless and dropping his right hand when he threw his own left hand which then led to him getting hit with a big hook that dropped him.

I have to say i was one of the people who thought Khan would have had him in the 6th/7th round.
However, Khan went out like a complete arse trying to match him for every shot, i don't know if Rubio had told him to do that or not, but he got KTFO and i have to say i rather enjoyed it. After the fight however, i felt a bit sorry for him considering how he was supposed to be the next big thing but got KO'ed in a very amateur style in round 1 of his first PPV fight.

he was wobbled by a jab, none of this "just got caught" crap. i suppose it's comforting for him to think his loss was down to a mistake rather than deficiencies in punch resistance.
