i've put down khan because of all the undeserving hype this creampuff gets. and my rezentment has been made worst by the simple shallow khan fans on this site.
but in all fairness khan got con by presscotts gameplan. khan got taken by suprise and lack of expierience made him make the wrong choices.
an experienced boxer would of got up off the canvas and immediatly pull a john ruiz to try to get thru the round.
so we never real seen if khans new trainer improved his boxing skills.
it should be a wake up call for khan. usually these sort of event only has to happen once in a boxers carreer and it wont happen again.
and its ree****yless to blame the choosing of presscott as an opponent.
    the guys nothing.
guessing that if they would of gone 10 rounds it would of been a close fight between two 2nd tier evenly matched boxers.

it wont happen because theres more money to be made off khan in uk, but for his carrer feel it would be better for gbp to take him under their wing and bring him stateside away from his silly fan base and "yes" men and really put him to work under real professional tutilidge.
the poor kid fell pray to believing his own hype.
when i seen silly posters here talk about him fighting top ten ltwts its got to make you laugh. i mean did these lackey fans really think he would have a chance against david diaz ranked 11 or edner cherry ranked 16 or
even jesus chavez ranked 20? let alone anyone in top ten!
he's ranked 23 now. more closer to reality but still to high i think.

many boxers would have been knocked down by those punches prescott threw.

Amir Khan got his ass handed to him...stop blaming the trainers and the promoters...at the end of the day the fitghter has to fight...I have always Khan was an over hyped chump and this shows just that...by the way expect him to come back looking more like another chump (Prince Hammed) when he returns...he's gonna run like there is no tomorrow from now on...if Princes Hammed would have stood up and attempted to fight he would have gotten KO'd just the same...

but you cannot compare hatton and calzaghe's hype with khans...

al least hatton and calzaghe can fight!

hatton is 6 time world champion at two diffrent weights...and calzaghe is an undefeated 11 year world champion AT TWO WEIGHTS!

so to say they are not REAL world champions is a bit harsh!

          cheers
Not really harsh at all my friend. Calzaghe hasn't fought any REAL competition. He fought Kessler and Hopkins. Hopkins was old and past his prime and Kessler is good but far from great. Hatton is a stud but against the top competition he won't last! I'm probably a little hard on Calzaghe but I don't think Lacy and the rest of guys on his undefeated record are either memorable names or relevent . Unfortunately his age will prevent from fighting the top guys in their primes . Joe suffers from fighting so long at 168 where there really weren't that many REAL names. I wish he'd gone up to lhw or down to mw years ago . Do you honestly think he'd beat a young Winky Wright,Roy Jones,Bernard Hopkins or Jermain or Kelly P ? We will never know.
