What if he fought Clottey, Williams and De La Hoya? Margarito could lose all of those fights, but in the case he won them I'm pretty sure he would go into the hall of fame.

Before we even mention HOF, there has to be that rematch against Williams, then Clottey, rematch against Santos, unify super WW, and maybe get a title at middle weight.
