Joel Julio, whats the script then is this guy gonna make it big or what?
How do matches with him against fellow prospects Kirkland and Angulo?

Julio's going to Germany to try to win a world title. If he is successful then he'll be a major player.

He's flawed technically but possesses a big punch so we'll see if he can make it big, I'm not sure how he'd do against Kirkland and Angulo but I'd love to see those fights.

He first has to win against Sergiy Dzinziruk which isn't that easy.

Julio actually came about before Kirkland and Angulo but his hype died down after his loss to Quintana. As it stands, he would problaly beat Kirkland at this point and I'm not sure who wins between him and Angulo. Julio has some VERY heavy hands.

I think Kirkland would beat him, I think Kirkland is stronger and faster then Joel and I also think Kirkland is more technically sound when Kirkland wants to be... Last night was a terrible display by Kirkland, I don't know if he really felt like it was a bad display from himself personally or if he just felt like agreeing with teddy atlas because teddy is infront of him. But it was, his jab was ass last night, his body punches were almost completely non-existant... I didn't even see him throw one but he could have. He needs to improve on alot of things, and Anne Wolfe was dead on when she said that she wanted him to fight in more angles, the way Kirkland fought last night he looked like a Jeff Lacy clone trying to go for the KO early. Thats all nice and dandy but when you have some one better then cortes infront of you its not going to do **** to fight the way he fought last night, actually if he fought the same way he did last night then he would probably have gotten ko'd by Joel Julio. But I'm pretty sure he'll learn if he really realizes the way he fought was terrible. Also, the ref should be fired after last nights performance. He shouldn't have stopped the fight, and also he should have gave cortes a 5 minute breather after being illegally hit. He shouldn't have dq'd Kirkland which I'm glad he didn't but theres no way in hell he should have let the fight continue right away the way he did. And that illegal punch, everyone saw it, only a blind person couldn't see it so he can bull**** all he wants and say he didn't see it but we all know the ref knows he saw it. Personally if I was the ref I would have gave Cortes a 5 minute(or long as he need, meaning a little less maybe a little more time to recover and deducted one point from kirkland) I don't think the punch requires a dq, but I think it definitely deserved one point and time to recover from it.)

Either way I'm pretty sure Kirkland would have won last night, but that ref really needs to be fired, *******s like that are bad for this sport. Doesn't deduct a point, doesn't give cortes time to recover... Wtf, is that ****? Teddy Atlas should have made a bigger stink about it and say that ref shouldn't ref a professional boxing fight again. I'm totally disgusted by the ****ty refs and ****ty judging they have in boxing. I think most of us fans would be better refs and or judges

Julio's fight with Dzinziruk should be interesting. Either Julio will win that belt and get some interesting fights or maybe we'll find out Dzinziruk is pretty damn good. All I know is though is that fights between Angulo, Kirkland and Julio are gonna be exciting as hell.

Julio shouldve lost to Ishe......and almost lost to Cosme Rivera......If Sergei is not shot, he takes care of him easy........

if he wins, Sergio Mora beats him......no question in my mind...
