I dont see PR having a bad year, I mean 3 of the biggest PR vs Mexico fights are Calderon vs Cazares, Juanma vs Ponce, Cotto Vs Margarito and PR won two of them, its just Mexico have a bigger number of champs right now. So IMO the poll sucks.

That makes sence, I guess all the hype of the other fights have shadowed the onces you mentioned, but Cotto is huge attraction and his defeat really made an impact just like his wins did. So I guess it hasnt been a bad year overall for PR, but perhaps maybe on the bigger stage PR has shined better before.
