    Kirkland will get exposed fast..

He was geting his head snapped back so bad.... He has no defense,He leaves himself open, and his chin isnt the best... Angulo took out Cortes in one round with ease with out getting hit. And that was the worst punch while a man was down that i ever seen. That referee ******!....Dont blame the activity in the room, you fight the same way everytime..

    Oh very early stoppage.

i love the fact that kirkland is so exciting and tends to the crowd, but i hate the fact that you're most likely right.

who cares, he is incredibly exciting to watch, and because he can punch, he will ALWAYS be incredibly exciting to watch.

Idc if he loses his next 5 fights, ill probably still tune in to watch his every fight

I disagree, he was way too over anxious in front of his hometown crowd. He has a damn good jab, great body work, and he can work his angles better than he did tonight. I see big things for him so I think he will last long, but he will have some bumps around the way.

I think Anne will do right by Kirkland and make sure his defense is prepped up. I know they aren't liking how easily he has been hit in his previous fights so I'm sure they are going to work on his defense a bit more and we will see a more patient Kirkland. This is why a fight with Angulo would not be the best decision right now because Angulo is the technician of the two and kind of seems to be ahead of the curve right now, but 1-2 years from now, the fight would be awesome.

Yeah i think if Kirkland would to fight the tough iron chin Richard guiterrez or Tsurkan it would be a huge step up for him and pretty dangerous.

If Kirkland gets hit that flush by someone like Jorge Julio, he's going to sleep. But he does still have plenty of upside. Definitely a fighter to watch.

I like Kirkland a lot. He just needs to work on his defense a bit more.

I agree with you. Cortes I thought stunned him a bit in the opening round and Conyers had him down. I think he'll get beat when he steps up if he doesn't improve.
