Kirkland needs to improve in all areas. He looked way too sloppy, flat footed and imo looked like he was weak in there.

cheap imitation??? Letterlough wasnt that good of a fighter man. Kirkland is much better.

If Kirkland tightens up his defense he could be a real force in the division. His offense is really explosive. But as it stands, he is far to easy to hit and doesnt have a good enough chin to make it to the top of the sport IMO.

Nobody gave Gonzalez a tougher fight then Julian Letterlough, who should have gotten a title shot at 175 instead of 190. Letterlough had better technique, better stamina probably more power too but lets see how Kirkland does against a top contender in his division.

damn cortes has no defense i saw him fight against angulo as well.

just like in this fight he was definitely landing a lot of good shots but he just cant keep up with those guys. cortes will beat a lot of fighters in this division he just cant handle the pressure of angulo or kirkland those two are savages.

now that is an exciting fighter.

Awesome power, super super aggressive hits and gets hit and he looks vulnerable around the whiskers to me. That is the foundation for a truly exciting fighter.

Kirkland is a lot better than Letterlough was. All Letterlough had was raw power.
