They trying to clown Roy, however that segment really speaks to HBO's charactor more than anything. Roy is a legend, they are cowards.

The HBO team has really gone down the drain in terms of respectability in the last few years. I've been watching lots of boxing from the 80s and 90s in recent weeks and you could tell that Merchant and Lampley had a lot more joy in calling the fights and their outlook on boxing overall. Somewhere along the line the both of them became so bitter and biased that it makes me want to puke just listening to them. I think the major switch of bitterness was in fact Roy Jones and their obsession with wanting to see him beat which then eventually carried over to Floyd Mayweather. Who they also liked at one point and then changed their tune once he was on top of the world. That video is a little disturbing. If I were in Jones position and they played the in front of me... Yeah, I get he was the most recent to fight both of them, but have some damn class.

Talk about rubbing it in, I guess they wanted to get Roy back for always being late for the fighter meetings.

Why else would they add the clip laughing at him?

                That was messed up.

Poor old Roy, he isn't hard to make fun of really. Punch him gently and he'll be unconcious for the next ten minutes, you can say what you want.

This is why the top guys manage their careers as such. These ****ers don't give a damn about any of the fighters. Their loyalties lie in their pockets.
