I think that they're trying to corner the ****sexual/self-mutilator market with their gloomy histrionics and great call on the Smashing Pumpkins comparison, very similar messages. I think they're a mix of Queen's edgier riffs with the flamboyant front man that is similar to a less gifted Freddie Mercury but with the gloomy overcast of Smashing Pumpkins' Adore album.

Good answer, i'm not a hater. Just never really found them that inspiring. I do like some of their tunes but in my personal opinion they will never be on a level with the pumpkins.

I agree, them selling out only holds them back. Once everyone caught onto them it wasn't cool anymore

I'm from a few towns away from them so I remember listening to them on local college radio (WSOU, Seton Hall Rock) but now some of their songs are just awful.

Smashing Pumpkins are my favorite band of all-time.
