Is David Haye the next Audley Harrison at heavyweight?

Will David's Haye's career at heavyweight be a big disappointment for British boxing fans?

There are some similarities. They both decided to promote themselves.

And Audley used to shoot off his mouth to the media about his being the best and how going to decimate the other heavyweights, yet the matchups with good opponents rarely materialized.

Audley was obviously overrated by himself and by many British fans - is Haye similarly overrated?

I don’t know, Haye is already the cruiserweight champ so even if he failed at heavyweight he would still have achieved alot more than Audley, Haye imo is much better than Audley the thing that could stop Haye being successful is his weak chin. Its interesting because they have both sparred each other a lot.

We'll wait and see, Haye has already accomplished more in his career than Harrison has though.

Wouldn't be surprised but Audley was already quite old for a boxer when he started.

Anything he does will likely outdo Harrison, although that ain't sayin much.

Haye will no way be another Harrison. As soon as he gets some fights under his belt he will show everyone what he can do at HW. I know its a pain in the a$$ waiting for so long, but as they say. Good things come to those who wait
