Barrios vs. Juarez: Jorge's Weight Issue, Limit Raised

BoxingScene.com was informed that Jorge Barrios (47-3-1, 34 KOs) hit the scales earlier today and was heavier than his team had anticipated. Due to fears that he may not be able to make the 130-pound limit for Saturday's bout against Rocky Juarez (27-4, 19 KOs), both sides have reached an agreement to let Barrios weigh in on Friday at the limit of 133. What's Barrios still doing trying to make 130lbs anyway? He said he was moving up before the Guzman fight in which he ALSO didn't make the 130lbs limit. Barrios wasn't gonna get the title, but he didn't care because he was moving up supposely after the fight, and figures he'd have a nice advantage over Guzman. Instead, he loses the fight and gets no title. I really wonder what the hell is wrong with him. He is as crazy as he looks.

oh man, this could be bad for juarez. He is almost fighting a lightweight, he himself should be at 126.

TexanBaller is right Rocky going to be at a big strength disadvantage and Barrios is gonna
be much bigger than 133 when they enter the ring.If Rocky is going to make an impact he has got to be at 126.Barrios is crude and Rocky can definately still win but he is gonna have to fight his ass off and not go into his inactive spells that he has been prone to do.

It must be a good chunk of change if juarez agreed.... That sucks I knew barrios was gonna beat juarez ass but with the size advantage its gonna be a horrible beat down by Barrios

You should see what Soto unofficially weighed for his fight with Guzman.

For some reason I thnk that Rocky is gonna come into this fight and be better than everyone remembered him being. I just have a hunch.

Rocky KO in 6 in an easy fight. Call me crazy, but I dont know.
