Former Heavyweight Champion Michael Moorer is hard at work training with Brian Young of PrizefightBoxing. Tunica, Ms. is just 15 minutes from downtown Memphis, Tn. and has become a hotbed of boxing in the last couple of years. PrizefightBoxing hosts monthly events at the various casinos in the Tunica area.
Tunica, also played host to the Olympic Boxing Trials, due to an aggressive campaign by Mr. Young.
Brian Young has leaped into the boxing spotlight by bringing big name fights to Memphis, including Lewis vs Tyson, Tyson vs Etienne, and most recently, Roy Jones Jr. vs Glen Johnson.
PrizefightBoxing now has their first "Champ" in their stable as Ivan "Choko" Hernandez KO'd former longtime Jr. Bantamweight Champion Mark "Too Short" Johnson on the RJJ v Johnson card.
