Lopez IS Puerto Rican and Figueroa IS Mexican. Therefore it is a Puerto Rican vs a Mexican. There is a rivalry between Mexico and Puerto Rico. Therefore this fight is a rivalry between the two. Nobody is saying it will be on the level of Gomez-Sanchez, Gomez-Zarate, Cotto Margarito, but its a rivalry regardless because whenever a Puerto Rican and a Mexican fight the rivalry between the two is inevitable.
