He was going to quit assuming he it was going to the cards on TD. He thought the jaw fracture was caused by a headbutt, he was told if he quit then it would be a TKO and he'd lose. SO he carried on.

Raul Marquez did a good job last time out and qualified for his shot. If Arthur looks past this fight, which is possible considering Pavlik likely's next, he could be in for a tough night.

That being said I still fancy AA by KO. That power is mindblowing.

He's the best middleweight in the world. The man has an iron chin, huge power, massive heart, he's an accurate puncher, he can box, he can be a pressure fighting slugger, he can stand right in front of you and use a Winky Wall defense and counter punch, he has movement...the guy is the complete package at 160.

I don't expect Abraham to have much trouble with Marquez and think he'll score an early KO. All Abraham has to do is 'put on the ear muffs on' and pick his shots. Marquez will be completely outclassed in this fight...

He lacks one thing though and that's work rate. He fights too much in spurts which leaves room for a slick and smart fighter to outpoint him IMO.

How many slick, smart fighter are left at Middleweight? Sturm? Pavlik is hardly, slick and Sturm is a small middleweight who lost (should have won) a close decision with De La Hoya but it was still close. Pavlik has the best chance but I dread to think what would happen with Abraham managed to catch him flush.

pavlik is busy enough to outpoint arthur. kelly could get a pretty wide ud as arthur is very light on workrate. but with arthurs power he can possibly land something big and hurt pavlik as well. which he will need to accomplish to have a chance to win the fight imo. i don't see arthur winning without hurting pavlik significantly. i favor pavlik, but can not rule out arthur by any means.

You're right. Of course Pavlik managed to outpoint Taylor, and I'd probably fancy him to do the job against AA. But for sure you cannot call Pavlik slick.

As for Sturm, well he'd be motivated like never before since DLH, but I would fancy AA to KO him still.

I would also think that Taylor would outpoint him (I know some posters think I rate Taylor to high) and I would also fancy Kessler.

I'm an honest boxing fan, therefore I'm not going to be bias. I agree with what you said above except I give AA a way better chance of hurting Pavlik.
