Jose Luis Castillo, in his prime, without question. Too strong, too skilled on the inside and very effective at cutting off the ring. Plus, he could box. And had a beard. Tough, tough hombre.

Man, I'm disappointed. Here's hoping Pacquaio takes on the top lightweight after Oscar but I doubt. You and I both know Hatton's next and the ridiculous fantasy bull**** matches will continue.

Castillo always fought 2 weight classes lower just to have a big size and strength advantage. He would defintely have it here.

Pacquiao has a ridiculously good chin. I'll take Castillo by wide decision. I haven't seen many lightweights who could have a chance against Castillo, honestly. This group is full of really good fighters, but I think all of them lose to Castillo, except maybe Guzman, and that is purely speculation. I have no idea how good Guzman is as a lightweight, but if he is as good as he was at 130, he probably beats Castillo.

castillo wears manny down and manny gets ktfo.

                  manny has a good chin but that's at 122 , 126 , 130. 135 is a big leap.

castillo for a time was the best 135 fighter in the world.

if manny shows his chin at 135 and above then i could change my mind but right now i think manny would get ktfo against jose luis.

As a Guzman fan...I feel JLC would win. JLC is just a beast at 135. I'd have to see more of Guzman.
