i think this will be a big factor in the fight..calzaghe wont have the energy he normally does cuz jones will dig him to the body enough

maybe in his prime, but i think since he's older he wont be able to jump in, **** to the body , then jump out. if he dare jump in JOe will **** to the face faster than Roy can get out. simply my 2 cents.

I think that RJJ is going to hit Calzaghe with all that he has got but I think that Calzaghe will weather the storm in the first few rounds, work out RJJ gameplan and then take it to him and get the win. There is no doubting that RJJ is a great body puncher but I honestly think Calzaghe will take this one.

I agree with this post. I don't think ROy will be doing a great deal of body punching in this fight. Long range jabs perhaps but that is about it.

No, but I don't think Jones will go to the body all that much apart from maybe some straight right hands, which is his favorite body shot against southpaws.

I give Roy a shot believe it or not. For a couple of reasons he is still very fast and can slip alot of punches and is keeping his guard up higher at times. The second is his power although he has lost some pop he still hurt Tarver in the third fight and nearly koed his last two oppenents but looked like he has honestly holding back. And Lastly Roy wont respect his power he is the bigger man and will not have to worry about Counterpunches. I take roy to pull the upset. Peace out

calzaghe is very open to the body and even though jones is not in his prime i still think he's very smart and always has a game plan, i think he can land the straight right and right hook all night,
also a big factor will be..calzaghe is never really balanced while throwing his flurries and jones is still the ultimate counter puncher he can counter any punch from any angle.

Hopkins, like Roy Jones, was a good body puncher in his day.

Both have declined too much to consistently punch to the body, we didn't see much of it in Roy's last few fights.
